NAHJ Condemns Trump Campaign Statement Attacking Univision

(Washington, D.C.) – The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) condemns the Trump campaign’s attack on Univision today, undermining a trusted and vital information source for Hispanics and Latinos across the country. Univision is a reliable news source, with top tier journalists who are dedicated to serving the public.  While NAHJ may not align with every decision made across a variety of broadcast networks, NAHJ recognizes Univision strives each day and night to bring its viewers, readers, and listeners the information needed most — giving them the power for their tomorrow.

The type of dishonest commentary and criticism the Trump campaign released today, once again, is a vicious and irresponsible attack on the media and the public’s right to access and information.

NAHJ stands with Univision in its commitment to bring fair and accurate news to Hispanic communities.
