2022 Ñ Award Winners Announced
(Washington, D.C.) — The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) celebrated excellence in journalism tonight that represents Latinx communities and cultivates an informed public.
Presented by Toyota, the 2022 NAHJ Ñ Awards revealed winners across seven awards categories for their outstanding contribution in a variety of journalism mediums. The complete list of this year’s winners and their work can be found below illustrating the level of storytelling required to convey the exceptional nuance of Hispanic and Latino communities represented in news and media.
This year’s livestream garnered nearly 3,000 live viewers and was hosted by CBS News Political Director Fin Gómez. The show featured special guest appearances by DeVon Franklin, co-producer of the highly anticipated movie \’Flamin Hot\’ from Searchlight Pictures; and Actor/Director Karina Noelle Castillo. Additionally, NAHJ President Yvette Cabrera and Director of Next Gen. Leslie-Anne Frank delivered presenting remarks.
