Blanca Rios is an Assignment Desk Editor, Writer and Field Producer for ABC 7 News in Chicago. She served as NAHJ Chicago chapter president for two terms in 2014-2016.
Originally from the west suburbs of Chicago, she has more than 15 years of Chicago TV news experience at both Spanish and English-language stations
Blanca graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Business Translation and a minor in Broadcast Journalism.
