Dear members,
There have been multiple inquiries regarding the status of the newly elected National Vice President of Print. During the recent elections, the designated committee and elections chair vetted each candidate and their eligibility to serve on the national board.
Since the vetting process, the National Vice President of Print has taken on a freelance opportunity which might be in opposition to existing bylaws as it pertains to the eligibility for members to serve on the national board.
The national board will take the proper time to review the Bylaws, seek counsel, discuss this specific case and determine the best course of action.
I am writing to let you know these types of inquiries are always taken seriously and managed with sensitivity and sensibility.
The Board will provide an update to the membership as soon as possible.
