Career growth, close to home

NAHJ Regional Summits exist to bring the value of our national conference directly to your community. Each summit is designed for both students and professionals. Whether you’re breaking into the industry or advancing within it, you’ll find sessions built for where you are.

You’ll leave with practical tools to identify your strengths, sharpen how you market yourself, and connect directly with employers who are actively hiring. Regional Summits are also where NAHJ’s national network gets local: you’ll meet journalists, editors and recruiters from your own market, alongside peers from chapters across the country.

What to expect

Each Regional Summit is a full day built around three things: learning, connection and opportunity.

  • Breakout sessions for both students and professionals, running concurrently so you can choose the track that fits you
  • A career expo where you can meet recruiters and hiring managers face-to-face
  • Plenary sessions and a closing reception to network with the broader NAHJ community in your region

Registration includes access to all sessions, the career expo and event meals.
