NAHJ 2022 Scholarships

***NEW DEADLINE: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2022***

NAHJ has been helping journalism students pay for their college education through scholarships for more than thirty years. Recently, new scholarships have been added every year, through the generous support of family or media organizations who want to honor beloved journalists and support the next generation’s entry into the field.

NAHJ scholarship opportunities are open to college-bound high school seniors, college undergraduates, and graduate students pursuing careers in English or Spanish-language print, broadcast, digital, or photojournalism. Students attending four-year colleges and community colleges in the United States and Puerto Rico with a GPA of 3.0 or better are eligible for the scholarships. See the additional information (links below) for information on the materials you’ll need to submit and the judging criteria.

The following scholarships will be offered in 2022:

Afro-Latino students pursuing a career in English or Spanish-language journalism will be chosen.
